Roz Plater of Fox 5 News reports that DC drivers will be socked with hefty increases in parking fees:
No more free parking on Saturdays…some meters will spike to two dollars an hour…and you’ll have to feed them until ten at night.
The changes will mainly affect eight so-called premium demand zones…like Adams Morgan, Georgetown and the National Mall. The rest of the city’s meters would stay at the 75 cents an hour rate.
